Though this meticulously written guide by New Zealand yachtsman author Rod Heikell (and edited by his wife Lucidna) is not a pilot, it offers a very handy background to sailing in the Mediterrnean. Full of information on climate, weather, equipment, navigation routs, mooring techniques etc. as well as the history, marine life, food and basic information on each Mediterranean country. This book can be ordered together with its natural companion: the Mediterranean Alamanac.
