I ordered the charts for my partner's birthday with a plan to frame one. Although the charts were exactly what I had wanted, there was some minor damage to the charts due to slightly thin cardboard tube material. Also, may have been beneficial to protect the charts in a plastic sleeve as slight moisture noted on a couple of areas.

Apart from commercial gain to Sea Chest,, I don't know why charts can't be rolled rather than folded and then rolled, just so you have to pay extra if you don't want a crease down the middle!
This is a perfect copy of the original 1784 chart of the Antilles. It's printed on good quality paper, approximately 50cms x 56cms.
